took a long time to get out of the way and let my children think for themselves and live life on their terms. i can let go when i see them without my interference make healthy, conscientious choices. thankfully, they still ask for my opinion sometimes, and my help if they need it.
hard times still happens, crisis still happens but they have the depth of character and the tools they need to overcome these temporary setbacks.
every once in a while, as wise as they are, they allow me to slip back into mommy world, where worry and fear makes me say the dumbest things, then they pat me on the head, and tell me its going to be all right.
so proud of my children....i am.
