i miss my mom every day. with mother's day soon arriving, the memories of her become bittersweet with sparks of longing.
it soothes my heart to know that through my life there have been powerful, incredible women who have mothered me when i most needed it. i am so glad they are still here with me. one such angel is carol selz who has been my champion and protector for over 25 years, and another is my first mother-in-law jean green, who has shown me unconditional love for many more years than that.
they have set the bar high as an example of what being a mother is all about.
