look around and find a sacred space...
 i have figured out why spiritual leaders keep telling me to fix my relationships - because life is all about relationships! its just much more than what i was thinking.
i am in relationship to the ground under my feet, the air i breathe, the plants i care for, my job(s) and my work family, the money i have, and the money i don't have, my bills, my body, my heart, the bird that just flew by, the peach that smells so good, definitely the food i eat, the people i love, and the people i want to love more. I am in relationship to the conditions of the world, to my past, my present, and my future...i am in relationship with every thing and every being. pushing to judge each relationship, make that one good or that one bad or the endless work necessary to make them better, is exhausting. enjoying the experience of being in relationship, accepting the "isness" of each one...well that's wonderful and doable. because here's a twist.... i also believe it is also all about oneness. |
