then we have invisible, formidable borders that separate people by class, beliefs, age, cultures and races.

​then we have more than borders, we have internal walls that keep away experiences, both painful and loving.

​what if it all came tumbling down?
would we be like nature, living side by side in peace

I have watched my little sister face challenge and after challenge with love, honesty and humor. I am so proud of her and her beautiful family.

so much has happened in the seven years since this first day. my beautiful granddaughter is almost as tall as her mom. my children have matured into excellent human beings, standing just a proud today as then.
